Abstract & Overview
In industries that rely heavily on resources and professional knowledge, organizations' labor time is both the direct cost and the main driver of billable revenue. However, traditional ways of managing companies still treat time recording as an after-the-fact administrative task instead of a crucial sign of how the business is running. Mismanagement of time turns out to be an expense greater than one might think, and this research establishes the architectural, empirical, and economic frameworks needed for enterprise time governance.
